Safety recalls - National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) provides information on safety recalls. Check if the vehicle you are purchasing has any unrepaired recalls.
Technical Service Bulletins (TSB)- TSB's are not recalls, but lists reported problems of a particular model.
National Insurance Crime Bureau - VINCheck is a service provided to the public to assist in determining if a vehicle has been reported as stolen, but not recovered, or has been reported as a salvage vehicle. Not all stolen or salvaged vehicles are on this list.
